The David H. Murdock Research Institute (DHMRI) is a catalyst for major scientific research and development (R&D) in human health, agriculture and nutrition. The DHMRI works with private companies, universities, and governmental organizations to facilitate and accelerate breakthrough research and development.

Capabilities range from biomarker, bioactive and trait identification and validation, to assay development and production, as well as detailed characterization at the cellular, in vivo, ex vivo and clinical levels. The Institute works with a broad set of clients including academic researchers, small entrepreneurial organizations as well as multinational pharmaceutical and agricultural partners.
To support these research initiatives, the DHMRI leverages a variety of platforms to provide in-depth identification, characterization and evaluation at the biochemical, cell, tissue, organ and model organism level including the support of clinical studies.
