From April 16 – 20, the Charlotte Motor Speedway will host the East Coast, 50th celebration of the Ford Mustang. On Friday, April 18, Kannapolis will join the festivities and welcome hundreds of Mustangs for a larger-than-life cruise-in. The cars will park along West Ave. and the NC Research Campus horseshoe. Streets in downtown Kannapolis will be closed at 2 pm. There will be live entertainment, vendors and trolley rides for all to enjoy! The City and Downtown Kannapolis, Inc. welcome all community members to join the fun. For more information, visit www.cityofkannapolis.com/MustangEvent.
