(NC Research Campus, Kannapolis, NC- January 15, 2013)- The Spectrum Discovery Center in downtown Kannapolis has consumer focus groups open for farmers and microbiologists.
Farmers with 500 or more acres are invited to the Spectrum Discovery Center at 222 Oak Avenue in downtown Kannapolis the week of January 21 to meet in a group setting to discuss farm equipment and industry issues. The time commitment is about two hours. There will be snacks and $80 given in compensation.
Spectrum Discovery Center is also recruiting microbiologists to test an innovative piece of microbiological equipment developed for food safety measurement on February 12 to 15. Qualifying participants will be well-compensated for their time and travel. They will test this new equipment in a simulated workflow environment to determine its ease of use and adaptability.
The Spectrum Discovery Center is a NC Research Campus partner. As a division of Sensory Spectrum, Inc, headquartered in New Providence, New Jersey, the center is a leader in the field of sensory and consumer science and the development of custom designed studies that define and quantify consumer interactions with the sensory properties of products.
