Opportunity: The Other Name for the NCRC

The North Carolina Research Campus is a public-private partnership located in Kannapolis, NC, north of Charlotte, where industry, government, and academic research intersect to advance the fields of human health, nutrition, and agriculture. Opportunities are available to:

  • Utilize the David H. Murdock Research Institute (DHMRI) and its advanced scientific equipment that include state-of-the-art technology in genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, light microscopy, and histology.
  • Hold conferences, seminars, and workshops
  • Lease or build-to-suit wetlab or Class A office space in a masterplanned, scientific community that seamlessly combines work and play.

For those looking to further their research or business, the NCRC has more available and planned space than most research parks. Over 800,000 square-feet are already built out, and over 200,000 square-feet of wet lab and office space are available to lease or build-to-suit. Thousands of additional square-feet of wet lab, medical office, meeting, lodging, wellness, retail and office space are planned as part of the campus' ongoing development.
