Research Facilities
UNC Charlotte's $35 million, 75,000 sq. foot Bioinformatics Research Center will be located on the second floor of the David H. Murdock Research Institute. The space includes both wet and dry laboratories, as well as core facilities for gene expression, proteomics, microscopy, crystallography, and computing. The facility is slated to open in late 2009.
